Marine Serre brand founder of the eponymous brand Marine Serre and Y / Project's creative director Glenn Martens have won the ANDAM Family Fund Award. Marine Serre will receive a prize of € 200 k, and Glenn Martens - € 150 k. The Pierre Berger Prize and € 100 k, which is intended for young French companies, went to the Mossi brand. Its founder Mossi Traoré promotes the study of haute couture in the poor suburbs of Paris. The innovative design prize and € 50 k were awarded to Tekyn, a startup that helps fashion houses improve production processes and reduce the time needed to create garments.
According to ANDAM founder and managing director Natalie Dufour, the selection of winners reflects the key challenges facing the fashion industry, and the changes brands must take in order to leave a mark on fashion. In April, representatives of ANDAM decided to change the concept of the 2020 award and financially support four French brands. In addition, ANDAM experts will help designers understand the sustainable development and construction of online retail, retail, and communication with customers.
The ANDAM jury includes top managers of LVMH, Kering, Chanel and Hermès International.
